About Me
It has been a while since I updated my site, and looking back, it has been a long time since I first started this blog.
I have been studying the Lenormand for 9 years now, since Sylvie Steinbach came on the scene in 2007, and I am thankful to my first teacher for introducing me to this little oracle, I have met a lot of people and learnt a lot about myself and others with the guidance of these 36 cards with lovely artwork.
I had first started off with only knowing how to do the “No Layout” spread, which was Sylvie’s signature spread, and it served its purpose of needing quick answers. You can only learn the break down of this layout now by attending a workshop, so I won’t be sharing the No Layout on this site.
Over the 9 years, I had organised 2 workshops in New Zealand for Sylvie and assisted her with an Australian workshop, and formed a Lenormand New Zealand study group. I had worked at fairs and expo’s in New Zealand and did private readings. However I had stepped away from my deck, after seeing something in the cards that I didn’t want to see and it came to pass, and when the situation (s)hit the fan it was a dark night of the soul for quite a while. I wanted something to blame and it was lenormand, you know how people “shoot the messenger” yep that was me.
However, the lenormand was still always humming in the background, and I asked the question “What was the one thing, that I had the most passion for, and had put more time, money and effort into learning? “Lenormand” I knew that I had to go back to it. I had wrote a list of why I should continue with it. I had to find another method, refresh my skills, be open to re-learning and put myself out there in the world again. I am my own person now, I have left the nest and flying. So nice to re-acquaint with you all again.

Hello Phoenix,
I just read that there are workshops in Australia! I was wondering if you could send me some details. I live in Adelaide.
Ive just started reading all about Lenormand on the internet. I love tarot but this deck really fascinates me and id like to continue learning about it.

Hi Joanna,
The next series will be next year in Australia, at this stage we are not quite sure where, the last series was hosted in Melbourne at the end of March this year. It depends on who coordinates and hosts these events, that will determine where.
